Southern Norwich District St George’s Day Sunday 26th April 2020

 

This year’s District St George’s day will take place at Eaton Vale Activity Centre on the above date at a cost of £12.50 per young person. Each young person will take part in 4 activities, 2 of which will need to be run by us (leaders) and 2 by the EVAC staff. All young people and leaders attending will receive a unique blanket badge designed by a young person in the District (ask your leaders). The outline programme for the day is as follows:

 

9am                 Young people arrive at Waitrose carpark

9.15am            Parade to EVAC

9.45am            Renewal of promises, awards, scouts own

10.30am          Activity 1

12am               Activity 2

1.15pm            Lunch

2pm                 Activity 3

3.15pm            break, time to visit the shop

4pm                 Activity 4

5.30pm            Young people collected

 

Final numbers are required by 14st February with payment in full. Group payments should then be paid into the District.

Groups are responsible for providing their own permission forms (please include shooting permission forms for all Cubs, Scouts and Explorers), and bring a first aid kit.

Young people should come dressed wearing their top half uniform and bring with them a change of clothes and packed lunch.

Tea, Coffee, soft drinks and lunch will be provided for all leaders, please ensure that we receive any special dietary requirements for leaders when confirming numbers attending.
